The Silver Slipper opened on the grounds of the Last Frontier Village at 3100 Las Vegas Boulevard South in September of 1950 as the Golden Slipper Saloon and Gambling Hall. On June 23, 1988, Margaret Elardi who owned the Frontier, bought the Silver Slipper for $70 million from Howard Hughes' Summa Corporation. November 29, 1988, Slipper Slipper closed her doors forever and the property was turned into a parking lot for the Frontier. This is a great addition for the Vegas aficionado.
